In 2003 I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Central America with Raleigh International where I took part is some life changing activities. I stayed in the tribal village of Boruca in Costa Rica where their trade is making and selling traditional masks for thousands of dollars. With the help of one of the villagers, I designed and carved this one myself. A nice mix of Costa Rican and British artwork I think.
It is my most prized posession, the photos really don't do this justice.
